Mein persönliches Resümee: im Silicon Valley wird von einer handvoll Leute das Internet „gemacht“.

Dennoch sehr beeindruckend: Egal ob man mit Gründern eines 5-Mann Startups, einem Abgesandten von Flickr mit Millionen von Usern oder einem von Google mit hunderten von Millionen Usern spricht, alle bringen einem ernsthaften Respekt und ungeheucheltes Interesse entgegen, denn alle können sich noch erinnern, daß sie selbst erst vor ein paar Jahren klein anfingen :).

Ich hatte die Ehre das mitzuerleben ( http://sgfoocamp08.pbwiki.com/ ). Insofern stimmt der 1.2. perfekt. Allerdings hatten einige seiner Freunde vorher schon Kenntnis davon – Joseph Smarr von Plaxo z.B. hatte die SG API vom Start weg in Plaxo bereits eingebaut.
