Der Such-Affe und sogar die Microformats-Suche funktionieren auch perfekt auf dem iPhone…

Einfach bei der klassischen Suche ein kleines i hinter die URL packen: http://search.yahoo.com/i/

…und gegebenenfalls noch ein „searchmonkeyid:com.yahoo.uf.hatom“ oder ein „searchmonkeyid:com.yahoo.uf.hcard“ dazu…

Microformats und das iPhone – Es könnte so einfach sein

Eigentlich bringt das iPhone, mit WLAN und einem (fast) vollwertigen Safari, die besten Voraussetzungen um Microformats zu verarbeiten.

habe ich mir überlegt, es sollte doch möglich sein, Microformats mit einem Bookmarklet direkt auf dem iPhone nutzbar zu machen…

Prinzip ist einfach, Bookmarklet (z.B. von Leftlogic oder Technorati) im normalen Safari Bookmarken, iPhone Safari mit normalem Safari über iTunes syncen, das wars… (wem das zu schnell ging kann sich das hier nochmal in Ruhe am Beispiel eines del.icio.us Bookmarklets anschauen.)

Das Bookmarklet funktioniert super:

…aber der §$%!& iPhone Safari kann keine vCard oder iCalendar Dateien verarbeiten!

Mach ich irgendwas falsch? Sogar mein popliges Sony Ericsson Handy erkennt vCards und weiß dass sie ins Adress-Buch gehören!

Naja… Wie schon im Titel erwähnt: Es könnte so einfach sein.

iWPhone ist ist ein WordPress Theme/Plugin für das iPhone. Die neue Version (v0.1.2) funktioniert jetzt problemlos auch unter WordPress 2.3 und bietet support für den iPod Touch.

Feature List:

Formats your blog content for optimized viewing on the iPhone and iPod touch.
Automatically detects the iPhone/iPod touch’s Safari browser and only displays the custom theme to iPhone and iPod touch visitors, other visitors get your standard theme.
Simple iPhone/iPod-like theme with common interface elements that compliments the iPhone/iPod touch’s internal applications.
Images larger then 300 pixels wide are automatically scaled down to fit the iPhone/iPod touch optimized width.

Xbox Media Center iPhone Remote ist ein schickes Web Interface um das Xbox Media Center bequem mit dem iPhone steuern zu können.

Features:

Transport controls, including pause/play, next/previous track in playlist, and volume controls.
Automatic switching between file browsing mode and transport controls mode via iPhone’s built in tilt sensor (file browsing in portrait, transport controls in landscape).
Viewing information on the currently playing media, including title, ID3 tags, album artwork, and much more.
Browsing of audio, video, photo, and file shares.

Zum Installieren einfach den kompletten iPhone-Ordner in das Web-Verzeichnis kopieren (Q:\web\iphone) und über das iPhone aufrufen.

iPhoney ist ein schicker iPhone Emulator für den Mac, mit dem ihr das iWPhone WordPress Plugin testen könnt.

Um das angepasste Theme sehen zu können, müsst ihr den Emulator auf „iPhone User Agent“ umschalten.
