<p>Eine weitere Ankündigung (via Newsletter) kommt vom OpenID-Provider <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20140529235912/https://www.myopenid.com/">myOpenID</a>, der (in Person von <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20080120192815/http://brianellin.com/">Brian Ellin</a> von JanRain) ja schon auf dem <a href="https://notiz.blog/2008/09/11/portablecontacts-hacks/">PortableContacts Hackathon</a> eine umfassende Demo zum besten geben konnte.</p>

<p>Nachdem <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20080730095206/http://scobleizer.com/2008/01/03/ive-been-kicked-off-of-facebook/">Facebook Robert Scobles Account sperrte</a>, wurde das Thema &#8222;Data Portability&#8220; wieder heftigst diskutiert. Robert Scoble hat versucht, seine Kontakte mit Hilfe eines Scripts von <a href="http://www.facebook.com">Facebook</a> nach <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20141230094250/http://www.plaxo.com/">Plaxo</a> zu portieren, was wohl gegen die &#8222;Terms of Use&#8220; von Facebook widerspricht:</p>

<p>In seinem Videobeitrag bei Seesmic äußert Scoble seine Verständnislosigkeit über die einseitige Datenportabilität von Facebook:</p>

<p>Nach dem <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20080721213736/http://www.particls.com/blog/2008/01/welcoming-robet-scoble-to.html">Beitritt von Robert Scroble in die DataPortability Workgroup</a> forderte Chris Saad (Gründer von <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dataportability#Das_Projekt">DataPortability.org</a>) in einer <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20080306000506/http://blog.engagd.com/2008/01/public-invitation-to-facebook-to-join.html">öffentlichen Einladung</a> auch Facebook auf, der WorkGroup beizutreten.</p>



<p>Heute Nachmittag gab Chris Saad die <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20080721232439/http://www.particls.com/blog/2008/01/individuals-from-plaxo-google-and.html">tolle Neuigkeit</a> bekannt, dass Facebook der offenen Einladung gefolgt ist, und zusammen mit Google und Plaxo der DataPortability Gruppe beitreten wird.</p>



<p>Eine spannende Geschichte, da Facebook und Google wohl zwei der größten Halter bzw. Nutzer von Persönlichen-Daten sind und man wahrscheinlich davon ausgehen kann, dass sich beide Plattformen, im Sinne der Daten-Portabilität öffnen werden. Ich denke und hoffe, dass aus dem Beitritt dieser Firmen einige interessante Services zum Austausch dieser Daten entstehen werden&#8230;<br> Frei nach dem <abbr title="Data Portability">DP</abbr> Motto:</p>
