Universal Greeting Time
[UGT] states that it is always morning when person comes into a channel, and it is always late night when person leaves. Local time of any member of channel is irrelevant. […] The idea behind establishing this convention was to eliminate noise generated almost every time someone comes in and greets using some form of day-time based greeting, and then channel members on the other side of the globe start pointing out that it’s different time of the day for them.
Simpel und (und deshalb) gut!

The Indie Web: Who owns your identity?
https://gigaom.com/2011/07/08/the-indie-web-who-owns-your-identity/
Dawn Foster schreibt auf Gigaom über die Indie Web-Bewegung:
The Indie Web movement is primarily about ownership and control over your identity. The difficulty is that many of the tools that we need to achieve the complete vision of data ownership just don’t exist yet, or they exist, but not in a way that is accessible to most people. During IndieWebCamp, we focused on discussing these current issues and starting to build some of the tools necessary to make the Indie Web a reality for regular people.
