iWPhone ist ist ein WordPress Theme/Plugin für das iPhone. Die neue Version (v0.1.2) funktioniert jetzt problemlos auch unter WordPress 2.3 und bietet support für den iPod Touch.

Feature List:
- Formats your blog content for optimized viewing on the iPhone and iPod touch.
- Automatically detects the iPhone/iPod touch’s Safari browser and only displays the custom theme to iPhone and iPod touch visitors, other visitors get your standard theme.
- Simple iPhone/iPod-like theme with common interface elements that compliments the iPhone/iPod touch’s internal applications.
- Images larger then 300 pixels wide are automatically scaled down to fit the iPhone/iPod touch optimized width.

XBMC mit dem iPhone steuern

X-Box
Xbox Media Center iPhone Remote ist ein schickes Web Interface um das Xbox Media Center bequem mit dem iPhone steuern zu können.

Features:
- Transport controls, including pause/play, next/previous track in playlist, and volume controls.
- Automatic switching between file browsing mode and transport controls mode via iPhone’s built in tilt sensor (file browsing in portrait, transport controls in landscape).
- Viewing information on the currently playing media, including title, ID3 tags, album artwork, and much more.
- Browsing of audio, video, photo, and file shares.
- Playing audio, videos, and slideshows.
- Managment of the audio, video, and slideshow playlists, including adding/removing media and playing of playlists.
- Launching of scripts within the Scripts directory.
- Restart, shutdown, eject, mute and various other controls.
Zum Installieren einfach den kompletten iPhone-Ordner in das Web-Verzeichnis kopieren (Q:\web\iphone) und über das iPhone aufrufen.

Das Microformat, für den der keine Microformats einsetzt 🙂

hMeaningless is an easy to implement microformat indicating the lack of semantic markup. Adding class="meaningless" to any HTML element indicates that the element contains no semantic markup what-so-ever.

Was für ein schöner Widerspruch, ein Microformat um anzugeben dass man keine verwendet 🙂

Kult & Nostalgie

Das Vierte nimmt „Ein Colt für alle Fälle“ ins Programm. Ab dem 5. November von Montag bis Freitag um 18.00 Uhr.

Was gibt es männlicheres, als mit Cowboy-Hut, Zigarre und Stiefeln in der Badewanne zu liegen 🙂

Brabblr unterstützt jetzt auch Microformats

Ich hab mich entschlossen den Brabblr Jungs etwas unter die Arme zu greifen und den Brabblr mit jeder Menge Microformats auszustatten.

Im ersten Schritt wurde „nur“ die Freundesliste mit hCard ausgezeichnet:

In den nächsten Updates wird dann noch hAtom und eventuell XFN hinzukommen, sowie eine Importfunktion via hCard nach den Vorbildern dopplr und wevent.

Automattic übernimmt Gravatar

Automattic, die Firma hinter WordPress und bbPress, übernimmt den Avatar-Dienst Gravatar (globally recognized avatar). Der Dienst wurde wieder zunehmend langsamer und hatte Probleme mit seiner Erreichbarkeit, was sich durch den Umzug auf die WordPress.com Server hoffentlich bald ändern wird. Außerdem sollen, laut Weblog, auch die Premium-Features für alle kostenlos bereit gestellt werden.
